As we all know, our heads are most susceptible to lose our body heat.  This is even a bigger issue for the little newborns only who have tiny teeny tuffs of hair.  During these weather, it's a very good idea to protect their little noggings with a tuque.  If you think babies are cute, these little tuques by Mad About Color! will definitely give you an overload of cuteness!

These tuques are customly handmade by the designer Joanne Scantlebury Muckart, a Canadian living in the east cost of Canada in the New Brunswick area.

The cool thing about these little tuques is that she really does customly make these for your loved ones.  That makes they will fit snuggly on the little tykes.

But remember, that means she needs some time to make these wonderfully colorful tuques.  If you want to get one, you have to order ahead of time.

So don't wait if you want one for your loved ones!

P.S.  These pictures do not belong to us and are owned by the designer.  We do not have any affiliation with the designer or the website Etsy.  We are introducing these tuques solely because we think they are cool and deserve every bit of attention out there.

After waiting for the Vancouver Winter Olympic for 7 years, these 16 days pass by just like a strong gust of strong wind.  It is definitely sad to see the event ending so soon.  That doesn't mean the proud Canada clothes have to end!

Keep rocking the Canadian Parkas, toques, wool sweaters, mittens, scarves and trapper hats!!!

O o o now let's not forget about Hockey jerseys as well!  Afterall, hockey's Canada's sport ;D

Look look look.  How can you resist not to try out these wicked chairs!!!

Spash Lounge Chair:

Ever look at macro photos of water splashes or super slow mo’ video of a droplet slamming into the surface sending ripples across a lake? There’s a moment in that 1/10 of a second when the impact creates a crater or sorts, as if you were small enough, it could neatly cup you. Inspired designer Michael Wendel created a 1/8th scale model called the Splash Lounge Chair, big enough for us to sit in.

The Ghost Chair

The ghost is a futuristic concept of a chair, 3-dimensionally captured within the boundaries of reality. It gives you a bit of a dramatic feeling: unbelievable, high-tech, but beautiful.
The plexiglass chairs have ghost-like forms inside them, created with laser technology.
Material: plexiglas (PMMA) of 50 mm thickness.
Size: 36 x 48 x 84 cm
Weight: 25 kg

The ghost is a futuristic concept of a chair, 3-dimensionally captured within the boundaries of reality. It gives you a bit of a dramatic feeling: unbelievable, high-tech, but beautiful.

The material shape is kept very uniform to remain a big contrast with the organic shapes inside. We sketched a futuristic concept of a chair that can not exist yet. By doing this we deliberate our design from the trend of stereotypical baroque forms.
Nowadays anything is possible with 3D computerprograms -you can even draw the impossible – so why fall back on the awkward design language of your grandma’s furniture? With the Ghost Chair we want to make clear that it is time to free ourselves of old styles and trends
and to start designing our own future.
It is a very new and exclusive product using the latest production techniques. The chairs are handmade with the best materials and specialists from Europe, therefore they will be very suitable for high end purposes. We can make every chair unique on the inside! There are also possibilities to customize the design of the inside ghost in consultation with the designers.
This year at the Salone del Mobile Milan 2008, we intend to kick off our ‘ghost collection’. The collection will excist of eight different (table)chairs, two different armchairs and a stools
